Salman Khan is misunderstood, says Preity

According to Preity Zinta , Salman Khan is misrepresented by the media as a reckless brat.
Having worked with Salman Khan in a number of films, Preity knows him better than perhaps any other actress does in Bollywood. Shirish Kunder’s directorial debut Jaaneman brings the two stars together once again.
When the movie was on floors, its shooting was held up a couple of times because of some controversies surrounding Salman. One such scandal was when an audio cassette alleging Salman threatening Aishwarya Rai on phone surfaced. Although the forensic labs later gave Salman a clean chit, some damage to the actor’s reputation was done.
Preity says Salman is one of the nicest guys she knows in the industry.
“He (Salman) may not be media savvy, he may be involved in some unfortunate incidents, but Salman at heart is one of the nicest guys I know in the industry, and even outside it. He is constantly being misrepresented in the media and being made a target just because he happens to be a celebrity,” says Preity about her ‘Jaanemann’ co-star.
It is true that despite the controversies that he has been embroiled in, Salman has been regularly lending his support to various social and charitable causes.
Just a few days back he showed his solidarity to Preity while appearing with her for a special screening of ‘Jaanemann’ for little kids.

Salman refuses a cameo in Milenge Milenge

It’s a known fact that when Salman is your friend, he will go out of the way to help him out. But if Salman has a problem with someone, the person can be really taken for a ride. Salman Khan and Shahid Kapoor are not best of friends. And now Salman has given hints of his animosity.
Salman Khan has opted out of the Shahid-Kareena starrer Milenge Milenge. Salman Khan was initially supposed to do an extended special appearance for Satish Kaushik directed Milenge Milenge, produced by Boney Kapoor. Salman was doing this film as he developed a good rapport with Satish Kaushik during Tere Naam and with Boney Kapoor during No Entry.
Well the story goes that during the controversial Rockstars concert, Shahid and Kareena spent all their free time together while all the others were spending time together as a team. This thing did not go too well with Salman and hurt his ego. He felt that they were ignoring him. Salman being an emotional person did not want to associate himself with them anymore and hence withdrew from the movie.
Boney Kapoor has confirmed the news and has said that he respects Salman too much to ask him questions over backing out from the film. Salman was to play a pivotal role in this long delayed film. Well we hope Boney finds a suitable replacement for Salman so that Milenge Milenge can finally see the light of the day.
